1) Baahubali 2 (Rs 511 Crore)

The record was not held long as Aamir Khan's PK became the first 300 crores grosser in December 2014. Aamir Khan's Dangal became the highest-grossing movie in Bollywood on 8 Jan 2016.

Baahubali 2 released in April 2017 shattered almost all box office records and becomes the highest-grossing Hindi movie. As of Nov 1, 2022, it is the only Hindi or Hindi dubbed movie to earn Rs 500+ Crore in India.
